This past Saturday 18th January 2025 , the Vice Chancellor met with the guild members during the University Students Leaders’ Patriotism Training, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration. The gathering was a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with university leadership, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. As the Vice Chancellor shared insights on the importance of patriotism and civic responsibility, the guild members listened intently, eager to understand how they can contribute to the university’s mission and the broader society.

The discussions were lively and thought-provoking, with guild members expressing their ideas and aspirations for enhancing student engagement and promoting a culture of patriotism on campus and in Uganda. The Vice Chancellor encouraged open dialogue, emphasizing the value of student leadership in shaping a vibrant university and the nation  environment. This interaction not only strengthened the bond between the administration and the student body but also ignited a renewed sense of commitment among the guild members to lead by example and inspire their peers.

As the training session concluded, the guild members left with a sense of purpose and motivation, ready to implement the ideas discussed and take on new initiatives. The Vice Chancellor’s presence underscored the university’s dedication to empowering student leaders, and the guild members felt a renewed responsibility to embody the values of patriotism and service.
