The 35th Uganda National Students’ Association (UNSA) Inter-Guild Council convened on Friday, 31st October 2025, at Soroti University under the theme: “Fostering Unity and Leadership Excellence for Transformative Student Engagement.”
The event brought together student leaders from various universities across the country to discuss key issues affecting students and to strengthen collaborative leadership within the UNSA fraternity.
Bishop Stuart University was ably represented by its student leaders including H.E. Robert Beinomugisha the Guild President, Rt. Hon. Tumwesigye David – Guild Speaker Hon. Donax Nyamwija – Presidential Secretary and other delegates from the BSU also participated. Their participation demonstrated the university’s commitment to national student leadership, collaboration, and meaningful engagement within UNSA.
Key Activities Conducted:

Visit to the Soroti Flying School, offering delegates an opportunity to learn about aviation training and related academic programmes.

Panel discussions focusing on UNSA operations, student affairs, and leadership development.

Council sessions where delegates deliberated on policies, student welfare, and future strategies for enhancing UNSA’s impact nationwide.
