The orientation of new students at Bishop Stuart University (BSU) was conducted from 4th to 8th August 2025 for regular students, with a special session set for weekend students on Saturday, 9th August. This week-long program served as a vital introduction to university life, providing students with the necessary information, guidance, and inspiration to begin their academic journey at BSU confidently.
Each day of the orientation saw an overwhelming and encouraging turnout, with new students arriving in large numbers, eager to become part of the BSU family. The consistent attendance throughout the week demonstrated the students’ excitement and readiness to embrace this new chapter of their lives. Various sessions were held to help students understand the university’s values, academic systems, available services, and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth.
The event was jointly organized and led by the Guild Government and the BSU administration. Guild officials played a key role in welcoming and engaging the freshers, sharing their own experiences, and encouraging students to be confident, security-conscious, and God-fearing. University administrators also addressed the students, emphasizing academic excellence, discipline, and active participation in university life. Overall, the orientation created a warm, informative, and supportive environment that laid a strong foundation for a successful university experience
