On 22nd February 2025, the 20th Guild Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Asiimwe Ronald, alongside fellow Guild Members and the esteemed University Vice Chancellor, Mr. John Mugisha, officially launched the construction of a volleyball and netball playground at Bishop Stuart University. This transformative project is aimed at improving sports infrastructure, fostering talent development, and enhancing student engagement in extracurricular activities. The launch event marked a significant step towards creating a vibrant and inclusive sporting culture within the university, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to student welfare and holistic education.

During the launch, Vice Chancellor Mr. John Mugisha praised the Guild leadership for their dedication to sports development, emphasizing its role in promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical well-being among students. HE Asiimwe Ronald, on behalf of the Guild Government, expressed gratitude to all stakeholders involved in making the project a reality.
